“Open” Letter to Mr. BAN KI MOON

The Secretary General of the United Nations
Ref: We kindly request your help for the introduction of the slogan “Problem Ego(t)ism; Solution Altruism”, which we believe to be an effective and guiding instrument to achieve the goals of the UN Charter.
Dear Secretary General,
We have been performing some “out-of-school training” activities for years on fields where there are problems of environment, consumption, traffic, health, taxes, bribery, national wealth, development, business ethics, habit of expecting everything from the government, etc.
At one stage of these activities causing revolutionary changes in our life styles, we have realized that we started to recognize ourselves, “the Creator” and to mature.
It helped us understand that human’s “independency from himself/herself”, or in our words being a “self-sacrificing creature”, was sine qua non for the attainment of the UN Charter.
Taking into account this reality, we produced the (a) slogan: “Problem Ego(t)ism; Solution Altruism”
If this slogan can be widely accepted all over the world and can be implemented,
we think and argue that the “World Peace” can be easily realized, which was expressed by Atatürk with his slogan of “Peace at home, Peace in the world” before the establishment of the United Nations, and which was explained by him as “Working for the happiness of the world nations means working on providing our own peace and happiness” and as “Entire happiness and enjoyment in life can only be found in working for the glory, existence and happiness of the future generations”.

We would very much appreciate your help to introduce the slogan of “Problem Ego(t)ism, Solution Altruism” throughout the world.

KONU: BM Şartı’nda yer alan amaçlara ulaşmada etkili ve yönlendirici bir araç olacağını savunduğumuz “Sorun Bencillik; Çözüm Sencilik” sloganının tanıtımı konusunda bize yardımcı olmanız.
Sayın Genel Sekreter,
Bizler,, yıllardır, çevre, tüketim, trafik, sağlık, vergi, rüşvet, milli servet, imar, iş ahlakı, her şeyi devletten bekleme alışkanlığı gibi sorunların yaşandığı alanlarda bazı “okul dışı eğitim” çalışmaları yapıyoruz.
Yaşam biçimimizde devrim niteliğinde değişikliklere neden olan bu çalışmaların bir aşamasında kendimizi ve “Yaradan”ı tanımağa başladığımızın ve tekamül etmekte olduğumuzun farkına vardık.
Bu sonuçlar, B.M. Şartı’nın gerçekleşebilmesi için insanoğlunun “nefsinden bağımsız”, bizim deyişimizle, “sencil varlık” olmasının olmazsa olmaz bir koşul olduğu gerçeğini idrak etmemize yol açtı.
Bu gerçeği dikkate alarak “Sorun Bencillik; Çözüm Sencilik” sloganını ürettik.
Bu slogan dünya genelinde kabul görebildiği ve yaşama geçebildiği takdirde:
Atatürk’ün Birleşmiş Milletler’in kuruluşundan önce düşündüğü, “Yurtta Barış Dünya da Barış” sloganıyla ifade ettiği ve “Dünya uluslarının mutluluğuna çalışmak, diğer bir yoldan kendi dirliği ve mutluluğunu sağlamaya çalışmak demektir”, “Yaşamda tam mutluluk ve tat, ancak gelecek kuşakların şerefi, varlığı ve mutluluğu için çalışmakta bulunabilir.” cümleleriyle dile getirdiği “Dünya Barışı”nın kolaylıkla gerçekleşebileceğini düşünüyor ve savunuyoruz.

“Sorun Bencillik; Çözüm Sencilik” sloganının dünya genelinde tanıtımı konusunda bize yardımcı olmanızı bekliyoruz.
